Staff and students gathered together today to mark Remembrance Day

11th November 2022

This is an important event in our school calendar, and we were pleased to all gather together for the first time since Covid.

We were joined by the Deputy Mayor of Newton Abbot, Lesley Sheffield, our Chair of Governors, Paul Sampson and by our guest speaker, Captain David Goldsmith from the Royal Navy. We heard about the significance of Remembrance Day for Captain Goldsmith and after hearing about his experiences, the school observed 2-minute silence at 11 o'clock. My Tyner played the Last Post on the trumpet.

We would like to thank our guests for coming to our service and celebrating this important with us.
